I had this whole plan to write every day and to never miss a day. Sorry guys. I will try more from this point on.
Now, moving on. I was talking to a friend of mine who has five children. We were discussing how various things in our houses seem to disappear. I started thinking about this and it is quite peculiar. The list of things I cannot keep in my house is fairly long. We lose socks, cups, various types of silverware, shoes, bobbie pins, hairbrushes and minds. I believe that basically anything that was intended to have a mate will eventually grow legs in my house. I can't explain it but I swear it happens.
A couple of day ago I discovered one little explanation for where the silverware goes. My two year old thinks he's "helping" by dumping his leftover food into the trash. Come to find out, he's just dumping the entire plate, fork and all. I am now working on that situation but can someone please tell me where the rest of my stuff is going? I know that there is a small family of Little People in my walls that are living very comfortably with all of our belongings.
What sorts of things do you have a hard time keeping or finding in your house?
Sit down with a cup of coffee and start your day with me :)

Day Five
Today is going to be another lovely summer day. We are going to in the in-laws for a fish fry. Wonderful fresh fish and family gathering. Just sounds like the perfect time. The only part that doesn't sound so appealing is getting 6 people showered and ready to go anywhere. I believe anyone who has even one child knows that it's not exactly easy to get a child ready. Now multiply that by four. Add a husband and subtract the time I actually need to get ready by 30 minutes because I will no doubt be making sure that all the children match and have shoes.
"No, not that shoe the other one."
"What am I, the keeper of the socks?"
"Stop hitting your brother."
"Where IS your father??"
Mind you all this is while I am drying my hair and attempting to put something on my face that makes me no longer look like a zombie. Then people wonder why I am always late to things. I can't help it! :)
What is the one thing that makes it the hardest for you to get out of the house on time?

Day Four
One time I had a blog. It had the same name as this one annndddd 2 posts. Ever. There was an introductory post and then my favorite. You see, the blog that once was had a magnificent post about sock baskets. Yes, you heard that correctly. Sock baskets.
Now, I have to remind you that I have four kids and a husband. We have an abundance of socks in my house and quite frankly I hated folding them. So I would ever so cleverly toss the unfolded socks into a laundry basket after each load of whites. There was also the occasional colored sock or lone white sock in a random load. Let me tell you, it does not take long for a family of six to fill up a small basket with unmatched socks. I still have the sock basket but it's no longer full all time. I try to make sure that there are actually matched socks in drawers in everyone's rooms. But you also need to keep in mind that it is nearly the end of July and I try to make sure that the entire family exists barefoot or in sandals. I guess we will see how it goes this winter?
What is your funny or quirky housekeeping habit?

Day Three
Summer is great. All the kids are home and I get what seems like the shortest break in history from school. We get to go to bed when we want and wake up when we want. It's like the entire day can be as slow paced as we like. I thoroughly enjoy that. I very much dislike having to have a strict time schedule. Well, anyone who knows me could tell you that. :)
I am notoriously late to everything I do. I can say that over the past year or so I have made a strong effort to change that and I do believe that I do much better now. It's fun to joke about but I am starting to see how it can be disrespectful to other people's time and it's quite unprofessional. Either way, that is why I enjoy summer so much! I don't have to think about time or worry about it. I just roll with it. It's such a pleasure. Tell me. What is your favorite thing about summer vacation?

Day Two
Well I have been thinking about life a lot this morning. My husband and I have been discussing moving to another state and making our own place in this world. That is a scary but overwhelmingly exciting thought. I have spent most of the morning looking at colleges to apply to grad school at. In exactly one year I will have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I absolutely cannot wait for it to finally be here. It's what I have worked so hard for. I spent so much time not trying my best and not really being sure of what I wanted. Almost two years ago, I figured it out. Ever since that day it has all made sense and is falling into place. The sense of pride I feel is unbelievable. I had a child at 16 and never thought about what my future would hold. Even though it took me a long time, I will know that I did what people thought I couldn't do. Not only did I have a child way too early but I will graduate college and provide for my kids. This is a little deeper than I intended this blog to be but that is where I am today so that is where it's going. LOL. Hope for a much lighter one tomorrow...I am actually thinking about couponing so I will share that tomorrow if I do :)

Day One
Where should I begin....Let's get introductions out of the way so that we can move along. I am a 27 year old wife and mother of four children. My life is full of moments. The moments aren't always good and they aren't always bad. They are happy and sad, funny and emotional. We have tons of fun and try to live our lives to the fullest.
